Drainage on sloping blocks
Parts of Salisbury East sit on sloping ground toward the foothills. On a sloping block, stormwater wants to run downhill, and if the drainage isn’t right that can mean water heading toward the house, pooling against walls or washing out paths and garden beds.
The fix depends on what’s happening. It might be a blocked or broken stormwater pipe, downpipes that aren’t connected, or a site that needs extra drainage. We’ll look at how water is moving before recommending anything. See drainage and stormwater.
